Comment and win!
I'm giving away this original gouache and ink painting to one of my dear readers as a lead-up to opening my new etsy shop on NEXT FRIDAY!!. It is 5x7 on pastel paper - ready to be matted and framed and hung in your favorite corner.
Leave me a comment, in this post, any time between today (July 24, 2009) and Sunday, July 26, 2009, at midnight and I'll enter your name into the drawing one time. Easy!
But wait...there's more! Write a little something about my giveaway on your own blog or Twitter feed, link back to this post, and email me to tell me about it at diahnott at gmail dot com...one more chance to win!
In addition, even after my pitiful attempt yesterday, if you feel like writing Haiku...please do. I'll have the boys pick their favorite and send this to the winner:
I'll stir all the entries (Haiku and non-Haiku) up in a random number generator and have it spout out a winner on Monday morning!
Don't forget to make sure that your name is included in your post!
Have a great weekend, everyone - and good luck!
me likey. put me in drawing.
ReplyDeletecaveman out.

ReplyDeleteI don't want to win anything, but I just want to let you know that your birds are extraordinary! :) Totally beautiful, and good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely beautiful! The first one reminds me of a tame heron who lives up the river from our house, and spends his time begging for food from people passing by.
ReplyDeleteI clicked on a link on another blog I follow, so happy to have found your blog :)
I'd love to win the egret. I'm an avid birder, so it is only fitting that I should win this. HA
ReplyDeletecontact: LVjesse at yahoo dot com, all lower case, replace words with appropriate symbols. I put the first part of my email in Upper Case so that people can see that the lv is NOT I V, but LV for Las Vegas
I guess when the contest is over and you've given the egret picture away, you'll "have no egrets", a great way to live life :)

Diahn, you've done it again...two more beautiful bird pictures.
Well, Diahn, you make us jump through all kinds of hoops don't you? :)
ReplyDeleteSo here is my Haiku:
Royal stroll, alone,
Snowy steps of sun on sand,
Crown of white tendrils.
