The spring shadows keep magically appearing around my neighborhood - this one across the street from my house. I love how the bud shapes dance across the peak of this roof. Check out the other Sunday Shadow Shots at Hey Harriet!

And, if you love cars...specifically Ferraris...watch the slide show. If you don't?
Shame on you.
These are great shadows. It does look like they're dancing! Spring shadows certainly have a lot more energy than winter shadows. Winter shadows rarely dance like that! Which I can relate to. I always feel like dancing in spring :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous shadow shot. Love the intricacy and detail of them.
ReplyDeleteI love those spring shadows!

Thanks, everyone! I do believe in spring dancing...every year I do a little happy dance on the first warm sunny day of the year! Seems like the trees do too!
ReplyDeleteLove the spring transition in people's souls...but the car thing is not for me...I have a truck and it's white...and it gets me there!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful spring day!
That is a lovely shadow-it looks perfect on that wall.
ReplyDeleteLovely shadow on the roof of your neighbour. And ... ah ah ... who can resist to the beauty of that red Ferrari? I would like to have such a car if I lived in L.A. or Miami :-)
ReplyDeletelol. I'd have one of those cars anywhere, if I had a couple hundred thousand extra dollars lying around...
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see all you Shadow Shot Sunday folks here! Thanks for stopping by!
I love the composition of this image...and it is so energetic! I did not get any shadow shots this weekend....no sun! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI really like the tree's shadows on the house. Those buds are marvelous.
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove your shadow shots!Really delicate and beautiful! And I do love Ferraris!! Thanks for the show!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I read about Shadow Sunday last night and was going to try and find some good ones today. Unfortunately, the entire landscape is in shadow today -- rainy and cloudy and more suited to reflections than shadows.

Ooh. My word verification thingie is "bardish". def: How one feels when the mood strikes to sing an epic poem ... "bardish" ....
Hmmmm....
ReplyDelete"bardish" alternate definition: frequently given to Shakespearean outbursts.
Shall I continue? I think not, therefore I... well... won't.
Out, damn'd spot! out I say!
ReplyDelete:-D
Bardish, indeed...
That tree has a lovely, lacy quality that makes for wonderful shadows. They do seem to be dancing, don't they?
ReplyDeleteDANG. 16 comments...Time for the Happy Spring Dance, forsooth and ASAP. (Bardish: a combination of Shakespearean language with a modern twist...DANG...ahem) Carry on, people.
ReplyDeleteAs you wish and all that jazz.
Great photo.
ReplyDeleteTrees always make wonderful shadows because the variety of patterns from their branches and/or leaves is limitless.
Beautiful shadows. Love the intricacy...it looks like lace.
