Could you explain the process? I see ghosts of images past as well as (primarily) pastel colored backgrounds with your bird & flower images on top of that. Is it a secret, or can you tell? They are very striking and your technique is appealing to me, but I NEED TO KNOW HOW you're getting the results!
So sorry - my bad. An ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals" - and are paintings the size of baseball cards, or 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The original artist cards were ATCs or Artist Trading Cards, which artists trade with each other in big online (and probably in person) swap meets. ACEOs are the same things, only sold rather than traded.

ReplyDeleteOh yes - please.
:) Well, since you said please...
ReplyDeleteI'll work on a process post, and take a few pictures as I work on my next one. I'd hate for your NEED TO KNOW to go unfulfilled!
Thanks for the suggestion, and the feedback!
For those of us who aren't artists, what is ACEO, pray tell?

ReplyDeleteCarry on...
I love the idea of babies! The contrast between the yellow, blue and orange colors is rich.
