I haven't participated in a
Weekly Drawing Event over at WetCanvas! for a very long time - at least all Summer, I am guessing - before my last computer died. But I suddenly realized that I could jump in today, so I decided to just do a couple of drawings in my Moleskine sketchbook.
I just used a standard mechanical pencil and my travel box of watercolors.
The two pages together...

and individually...

I just love your art....the dog is truly magnificent! He is both bold and gentle. The old truck must be blue and my great uncle is unloading from the back 'cause i dont see him. I'm under the shade of a porch watching (and not helping). I miss sketching; perhaps this week will find me begining my new sketchbook.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marta! Oh my GOSH - the truck IS blue, but my dad is driving it, instead of your uncle...at least that's what I thought of when I saw the picture!! I remember that I thought it was so cool with it's step sides and spare mounted on the side.
ReplyDeleteI hope to see you sketching soon - and not having a crummy week anymore...
