The Weekly Drawing Event is in full swing over at WetCanvas, so go check it out, if you haven't already. Here's my offering so far - all done in the large Moleskine watercolor sketchbook.
These are wonderful! can't wait to see more of your interpretations. Do you really use a Moleskine sketchbook successfully with watercolor or are these watercolor pencils?
Thanks, Shirley. These are all done in the Moleskine WATERCOLOR sketchbook - it has 140lb watercolor paper in it. It's the one with the pink wrapping. The paper does great with standard watercolors as well as pencils and crayons.
Diahn, it's great to see your artwork again! I've been away from things for a while, doing some music, and thought I'd check in! I love the frames, too!!
These are beautiful. And the Rhino's kind of cute. Linda said you two took an acrylic class and that she was going to try it tonight. I hope you both post your paintings.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous rhino -- i love how it pops out of the frame. Beautiful watercolors.
ReplyDeleteThese are BEAUTIFUL! I also really like how the backgrounds are framed/cropped - makes for a much more interesting composition.
