
Had to show these off - what a treat to see the ways different artists treat the same subject. In the lion image, the first and last images are the reference photo I took at the Knoxville Zoo, and in the Joshua image, the first and second to last are my original ref.


Isn't it a blast hosting? You had some wonderful images and some jaw dropping paintings from the participants. Start taking photo's! Only 6 more months and we'll expect even better photo's the second time around.

ReplyDeleteLet's see - I'll just answer for myself - I think if I painted th same photo several times it would not look the same and would very definitely be affected by my mood, the time of day, the lighting, if I had any chocolate... :D
